Have fun with your baby bump by making your own maternity Halloween costume. Check out my ideas for fun and festive homemade maternity Halloween costumes.
1. Go as a baseball, basketball or football: Paint your belly (using non-toxic paints, of course) in the design of a ball. Coordinate the rest of your outfit to match your chosen sport.
2. Buy a plain top and draw the design for a baseball, basketball or football. This is a good option if you don’t want to paint your belly, or are feeling shy about revealing your tummy.
3. Wear a bump-hugging orange top and draw a jack-o-lantern face on your tummy. Glue green felt to the top of a hat to make it look like the top of a pumpkin.
4. Go as Mother Earth by painting the Earth on your tummy or drawing it on a solid t-shirt. If you are feeling really creative, make a hat that looks like the moon or the sun.
5. Dress as Lady Gaga in her bubble dress. Wear a leotard, tights and glue clear balloons all over your body.
6. If you have two kids, dress them as bowling pins and decorate your baby bump as the bowling ball.
7. Go as a pregnant Snookie from Jersey Shore, complete with hair bump and an orange tan.

Christmas is just around the corner and if you still don’t know what to give your loved ones as a gift this year homemade Christmas gifts in a jar may be the right solution. Making gifts in a jar is an inexpensive yet extremely thoughtful and popular idea this year.
Homemade gifts in a jar are easy and fun to make, especially if you do them with your children or spouses. There are a variety of recipes available from cookie, cake, pancake, soup, hot chocolate, coffee to seasoning mixes. The possibilities are endless, so you can please everyone and every taste.
Another great advantage to making gifts in a jar is, they have a long shelf life so you can easily make them a few weeks prior to the holidays and save yourself a lot of stress that this time of year usually brings.
Are you worried that you are not that crafty to make your own gifts in a jar? Don’t be, because making them only requires measuring the ingredients, adding a simple ribbon to the jar, writing instructions to the gift tag and that’s it. It really is that simple but the gifts look so beautiful, especially if you layer the ingredients by color. And your family, friends or even co-workers will love the thoughtful gift that came from you and your heart.
So this Christmas, give your loved ones a unique Christmas gift and make a lasting impression. They will love such a thoughtful gift, made especially for them. And the coolest thing is you won’t have to break the bank making them!
